GHB Tips and Tricks

Tip of the day: This tip is worth your price of admission for those of you who like to play q3dm17 with the railgun. You want accuracy? Slow your mouse down...check sensitivity (hit ~ , then /sensitivity) if it is above 4.5, lower it. Yeah yeah, I know. Its slow! But trust me, with a little practice, youll be hitting 60% or better with the railer. (To adjust sensitivity simply: hit ~ , then /sensitivity #)

To be able to modify any of your settings for Quake 3 Arena you must first understand how to enter commands via the console. To access your console press the tilda (~) key at any time. This will activate the console and bring down the window. You can use the console as a simple chat windows, but to activate a command you must begin it with a slash (/). This mode is handy if someone typed something to you and you missed it, you can scroll up and down through the console windows with the PageUp/PageDown keys.
